Clearpoint is made up of two principals and a small team of qualified lawyers and accountants with strong commercial experience.  Our aim is to give advice and direct input into your business.  Peter Rice is the Consultant General Counsel for clients and manages the Banking and Finance team.   David Young is the Consultant Finance Director and manages the TMT team.

Banking and Finance

Clearpoint covers sectors including banking, the securities and investment sector, corporate treasuries and capital markets debt issuers.  Our team deliver transaction management services (outsourcing) for EMTNs, derivatives, loan documentation and structured finance products; FSA regulatory and compliance analysis, support and monitoring and FSA (GABRIEL) reporting support, as well as management accounting services, including accounting system set up and operation.

Technology, Media and Telecoms

The team provides management accounting services lead by the Consultant Finance Director including accounting system set up and operation, managing and supporting the accounting functions.

Recent Matters for April and May 2012

We have an increased focus on regulatory and compliance issues with a certain level of uncertainty as to regulatory changes in the finance sector.  The economic data and politics in the Eurozone make for an increased probability of further economic distress in the Eurozone and UK with at best a continuation of flat profits, GDP and hope. It is time to manage and be efficient and re-think how you do business.
